Here's The Reason Why The Military Still Has Horses And Bayonets

Redeem now U.S. Army In the run up to last night's debate, the Army Old Guard used its caisson horses in the burial of six veterans at Arlington, and certainly since twitter was ablaze with Obama's "horses and bayonets" line, a few more have been buried. This is not about a fact check (yes, the military still uses bayonets, andeven does bayonet charges, just not as frequently), rather it's about remembering why the military still uses horses and bayonets, and how they both still play a valuable role for ceremonial purposes and in actual combat.

Line Of Duty star James Nesbitt has topped the show's rich list with an eye-watering £11 million. The actor, who has appeared in just one scene of the police drama as corrupt detective Marcus Thurwell, has set up three individual companies which earn him a tidy sum alongside his array of acting roles. The LIV Golf’s Draft night was held last night, but despite the exciting teams and anticipation of high-quality golf, fans seem to have distracted themselves with something else. It was none other than the 6-times Major Champion Phil Mickelson who caught everyone’s attention with a comical photo. Mickelson announced on June 6th that he will take part in the inaugural LIV Golf Event. Greg Norman later revealed that he will also captain one of the teams in the tournament.
